Below Deck icon exposes intimate unaired scene savagely axed from Bravo series

Below Deck star Hayley De Sola Pinto has exposed one unaired scene that was axed from the show’s final edit.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Star, Hayley revealed: “There was somebody’s birthday that didn’t get shown! It was my birthday, obviously that got shown, but the next day was Ross’ birthday.

“Mine was the 11th March, his was the 12th. I remember saying to Ross specifically: ‘Just so you f***ing know, this year you don’t have a birthday,’ and he was completely OK with it!”

The reality star giggled at her sarcastic quip and continued: “I don’t want anyone overtaking my birthday weekend! The thing is, he was so sweet about it. He was like ‘Yep! Don’t really care, I didn’t really want a birthday anyway!’ So I was just like ‘Yeah, this is brilliant.’ The night of his birthday, I think we went out and [Below Deck] didn’t show any of that.”

Hayley was an instant hit after her appearance on the show

The redhead explained that the co-stars had a great time, but none of their antics were shown on the Bravo show’s final cut. “His birthday didn’t exist!,” she said, “That was a good birthday…the cake fight, there is a blue cake that you see being thrown around everywhere – my cake wasn’t blue! It was [Ross’] cake! But no-one wanted it anymore, it was like a week after our birthdays […] f***ed it, they gave him the worst edit ever!”

Away from the birthday drama, Hayley confessed that she loved her time on the boat and revealed that she was secretly a Below Deck superfan before her time on the show. She said: “My fondest memory, the whole experience. Just everything. I was a massive fan of the show before going on it, so every minute of being on that boat…everything was overwhelming.”

“I got approached around lockdown, it was Covid times and I was watching a lot of Below Deck – as you do – and I started seeing all these adverts for yachties for the show. I actually applied and they got hold of me a few hours later. I was sure they did that to everyone but apparently not! That was that, spoke to them, went through the interview process and that was it!”
