Former Benidorm star Bel Powley looks unrecognisbale from her time on the ITV sitcom after undergoing a major image transformation.
The 32-year old was cast on the show as Bianca Dyke in 2014 after lead roles in M.I. High and The Diary of a Teenage Girl. The role regularly saw Bel wearing fake tan and marching around the pool in a skimpy bikini.
The no-nonsense Cockney speaking Dykes also starred married couple Clive (played by Perry Benson) and Tonya (Hannah Waddingham), as well as Bianca’s brother Tiger (Danny Walters). Bianca was the loudest of the lot – a party girl who flirted with everyone in sight after being dumped by her boyfriend.

Now, a decade on and making waves in Hollywood, Bel’s sophisticated image is a far cry from her time on the Mediterranean coast.
The actress regularly shares career updates and snaps of herself with her 174,000 Instagram followers. In her most recent post Bel post a shot of herself from Milan, Italy, in which she appeared much paler than in her Bianca days.
Her dyed long blonde tresses are long gone – Bel now sports a shorter brunette look, complemented by her dark-framed glasses. Her account clearly shows she is happy to go make-up free other than a red lip – in stark contrast to Bianca’s image.

Bel also uploaded a video reading this week from a novel and spoke in the Queen’s English – worlds away from her accent in Benidorm. Bel captioned the post: “What an honour it was to read at the #MiuMiuLiteraryClub yesterday. I read an excerpt from the groundbreaking autobiography ‘A Woman’ by Sibilla Aleramo – the first feminist Italian novel, written in 1906, but feels like it could have been written yesterday.
“Listening to the incredible novelists Shelby Schwartz, Viola Di Grado and Xiaolu Guo discuss Aleramo’s work with @miss_zing was inspiring, enlightening and empowering.”

One fan gushed in response: “Bel Powley is incandescent anywhere and everywhere she goes, a true beacon of light and talent!” Another described her look as “Oil painting-esque.”
Admiring her diversity, a third penned: “When I first saw Bel on White Boy Rick, I knew she had star written all over her. Pound for pound, she’s one of the best actresses on the planet today. Elite talent.” And a fourth said: “Not a more beautiful woman anywhere.”
