Bruno Tonioli has revealed partying with Bananarama was so wild it put him off boozing for life.
They all used to go on crazy nights out when he was the group’s choreographer in their heyday and things often got out of hand.
Bruno, 68, told the Daily Star Sunday: “My days with Bananarama were wild. They couldn’t give a s**t about anything. They did exactly what they wanted. And they could really drink.

“We had so much fun. We had a hoot.”
The craziest night was at a club in Newcastle. Bruno recalled: “We played a game where if you got a question wrong, you had to have a shot of vodka. We were absolutely hammered.

“We started dancing and ripping our clothes off in the club. We were laughing and screaming. And then I spotted a guy who looked like trouble, this geezer. I’m talking a motherf***er.
“I sensed things were going to turn sour. I said, ‘Girls, run now’, and we ran to the car. The next day we had to fly to London. I was in the toilet the whole way. That was the last time I got drunk!”
Bruno is now more careful when he goes out partying. He said: “I never drink hard liquor now, it doesn’t agree with me. There is nothing wrong with drinking. But I don’t get drunk. A glass lasts me an hour.

“I think it’s the approach to drink that is wrong for some people. You can have little bit of everything in moderation. But getting drunk is different.”
Bruno is back on Britain’s Got Talent tonight at 7.40pm on ITV1.
