Boots sells Selena Gomez’s ‘magic in a bottle’ product that melts off stubborn makeup

Boots is offering card members seven days of deals on all things beauty – including a micellar water that has gained rave reviews and a celebrity fan base.

A-listers like Selena Gomez and Drew Barrymore have been seen using the budget-friendly French product to remove their makeup in just one swipe. The Only Murders in the Building star even shared how she uses it to take off stubborn eye makeup.

The product is Bioderma’s Sensibo Cleansing Micellar Water for Sensitive Skin. More than 37,000 users claim to love this gentle formula, with some saying it left their skin “soft and plump”.

Bioderma’s Sensibo Micellar Water can remove all makeup, and that’s including your waterproof eyeliner and stubborn mascara. The non-stick formula with cucumber extract cleanses and soothes your skin without irritating or drying.

In a TikTok posted by Face the Future last year, Selena was seen using the Bioderma product to take off her foundation and eye makeup. She poured the micellar water on to a clean towel and wiped it across her cheeks.

Most of her foundation and bronzer came off straight away and when removing her eye makeup, Selena shared a trick so the micellar water won’t get into her peepers or drip down her face.

The makeup remover is loved by celebrities and thousands of beauty shoppers

Grabbing a beauty sponge, she had a few drops of micellar water on the sponge and lightly dabbed it on her eyelid and under her eyes. This helps to remove eyeshadow, eyeliner as well as concealer.

And shoppers on Amazon were amazed by their effortless results, with one saying: “Like this better than the other micellar water advertised on TV. This doesn’t sting my eyes but is very effective at removing my makeup.”

A second penned: “I avoided the whole ‘micellar water’ thing, insisting it was just an addition to my skincare that was unnecessary. Well, I eat my hat. This stuff is good. After I deep cleanse I do a sweep with this stuff on a cotton pad and it inevitably picks up the last little something on the face. Curiosity got the better of me and now I couldn’t imagine not using this.”

The offer only works when you shop online using the Advantage Card

The £10 offer on Boots is valid for Advantage Card members only and it’s available while stock lasts.

For a travel-friendly option, beauty buffs go for a solid balm texture like Elemis’ Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm – it’s currently reduced to £35 on Amazon. The balm-oil-milk formula nourishes and hydrates while removing makeup and impurities.

Alternatively, celeb-loved brand Embryolisse has an exfoliating facial powder, £22, that’s easy to pack for travelling and it transforms to a fine foam once adding a few drops of water.
