A Buffy the Vampire Slayer icon looks totally different now after her stint on the show.
Michelle Trachtenberg was completely unrecognisable in a spate of new pictures compared to her time on the iconic 90s TV programme. Taking on the role of Dawn Summers in the show, Michelle was known for her natural beauty, drawing in viewers with her smouldering looks.
In her most recent snap, which she uploaded to Instagram on October 1, Michelle appeared to be getting into the spooky season, as she dressed up as a broken porcelain doll. Donning a pale white face with red blush on her cheeks and lips, she gave a blank stare to the camera as she penned in the caption: “Tik tok… almost time,” followed by a pumpkin.

Fans of the star were quick to gush over the acting legend, with many flooding the comments section with messages of love and support. One fan, clearly enthralled by the ensemble, wrote: “The amazing, beautiful and stunning Michelle, this is a great costume!” followed by a rose.

A second user added: “Do you ever have a bad Halloween costume? I don’t think it’s possible.” Whilst a third said: “What an amazing make-up job and costume!”
But while the Gossip Girl star, who is celebrating her 39th birthday on Friday (October 11), was inundated with messages of love and support, some were more concerned with her health. One worried account typed: “The whites of your eyes are yellow – please do a liver function test.”
Accounts have swirled around the actress’ Instagram profile giving their take on her health in recent months, with one fan writing on a post in January: “Michelle, you look sick – are you okay?” However, the star was having none of it and decided to take the account head-on.

“Explain to me how I look sick,” she fumed. “Did you lose a calendar and not realise I’m not 14; I’m 38 – how sad for you to leave such a comment.”
Later on, the original commenter apologised for their post, adding that the comment had “no disrespect” toward the actress and that they did not mean to “hurt” her. This was not the only time that Michelle has clapped back at concerned fans who have messaged about her health.
In May, the star had uploaded a photo of herself looking up with a natural glow and a light face of make-up. But despite looking flawless in the snap with her natural beauty, she did not hold back in the caption.

“For the trolls,” she penned, “buy some more tiny whities. Your mom ain’t going to do your laundry forever,” followed by a emoji of the middle finger and a wave.
People were left bemused by the post, with many asking whether she runs the account anymore or if it has been passed to a member of her team. Others, however, rallied behind the actress, urging her to not pay heed to any of the haters, with one comment reading: “You do you.”
