Cara Delevingne’s £5 million LA home goes up in flames with ‘one person injured’

Cara Delevingne’s £5 million Los Angeles mansion has reportedly suffered devastating damage in a blaze that was attended by almost 100 firefighters.

The 31-year old supermodel was not present at the property at the time of the incident and is currently working in the UK. According to local reports, however, one person was inside her home at the time has been treated for smoke inhalation. Their current condition is not yet known.

Crews were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call just before 4am local time, reports TMZ. A total of 13 fire engines and 94 firefighters attended the blaze, which is believed to have began in a back room.

The stunning home, which is located in the Studio City area of Tinseltown, saw its roof collapse as the flames spread to the attic. It is understood the crews took around two hours to extinguish the fire, meanwhile.

According to the LA Times, Cara splashed out $7 million on the 8,000 sq ft abode in 2019. At present she is in her native London where she has been starring in her first West End role in the hot musical, Cabaret since Monday (March 11).

Cara plays Sally Bowles in the Playhouse Theatre show, where her character has been seen with slicked-back and donning a green fur coat. Opening up about the role earlier this year, excited Cara revealed: “There are no words to explain the excitement I have to return home to make my stage debut in such an iconic role. I cannot wait to be a part of this brilliant cast and production.”

The multi-talented star appears alongside Olivier award-winning actor Luke Treadaway. He added: “I can’t wait to become a member of the Kit Kat Club and join this extraordinary production. It’s a huge thrill to be asked to take this on and I’m very excited to get started.”

The pair took over the roles from Scissor Sisters frontman, Jake Shears, and Rebecca Lucy Taylor, who made their debuts in the production in September 2023.

According to Carabet’s web site, Cara and Luke will remain in the roles until June 1. Cara is currently dating Leah Mason , a talented female musician who performs under the stage name, Minke.

Opening up about their romance in October, Cara declared: “Being with my girlfriend, in this relationship, there are just so many things that came at once and have made me so happy and comfortable with who I am.”
