Cat Deeley has blown fans away with her age after she confessed she had been working in the TV business for 25 years.
Deeley, who is married to Irish TV presenter Patrick Kielty, recently upped sticks and moved back to the UK to host This Morning. After months of several stand-in presenters, ITV bosses settled on loveable Deeley to host the show for good alongside hunky co-host Ben Shephard.
But fans were shocked to learn that this is just one of many strings to Cat’s bow, as she started her career all the way back in 1998, aged just 22. Appearing on Ant and Dec’s smash hit show SM:TV, Cat was a regular addition to the kids show, having fun skits including Wonky Donkey, which was resurrected when Deeley temporarily hosted the show late last year.

As well as this, Cat also presented the spin-off show for Ant and Dec’s programme, CD:UK, which ran from 1998 to 2005. And despite it being more than two decades later, fans have been floored at how flawless Cat continues to look to this day.
Some fans were amazed at Cat’s youthful beauty, with others refusing to believe that she is 47 years old. Many fans took to social media to make their feelings known.
One fan who could not believe Cat’s real age wrote: “I swear Cat Deeley doesn’t age.” A second user agreed, penning: “Cat Deeley is ageless!”
A third account also added: “20 years ago, Cat Deeley. You don’t look a day older!”
Cat is loved up with her husband Patrick, and the couple have two children together – Milo, seven, and James, five. There have been calls for Cat to bring Patrick onto the This Morning sofa, in a similar fashion to former presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, but Deeley immediately shut the idea down.
Speaking to American morning hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, she explained: “Everybody was saying, ‘Is he going to do it with you?’ – I was like, ‘No thank you!'” However, the hosting couple later suggested that Kielty should be drafted in as a stand-in, should Shephard not be around for the show – an idea that Cat eventually warmed up to.
This Morning airs every weekday at 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
