Celebrity Big Brother star Ekin-Su Culculoglu has admitted that she thought her ex Davide Sanclimenti was her “soulmate”.
During a conversation on CBB, the former Love Island star confessed: “I thought my ex was my soulmate. I imagined what our kids would look like, make the face and everything.” She went on to say: “Yeah, [together for] two years nearly. It was real. People thought we were a PR couple for ages, but then obviously when the arguments happen you can tell it’s real.”

The Love Island starlet, who won the ITV dating show with Davide back in June 2022, almost let slip why the pair decided to go their separate ways. However, Ekin-Su caught herself at the last moment.
She said: “But he likes to part…you know, I don’t want to talk about that, but yeah.” The conversation took place with her Celebrity Big Brother co-stars Zeze Millz and Marisha Wallace on the reality TV show after Wallace asked whether Ekin-Su had “had a hoe phase yet”.
Culculoglu questioned what the phrase meant and Marisha responded: “You can sleep with whoever you want, be with whoever you want, date whoever you want and just enjoy yourself.” Ekin-Su replied that she hadn’t and “would get attached” if she tried.
Ekin-Su and Davide met on Love Island back in 2022 had had a rocky relationship throughout the show. As two bombshells, the pair finally made their way to each other after testing the waters with other contestants.
After a few fiery on-screen blow ups, the pair went smooth sailing into the final where the nation crowned them the 2022 winners. The pair split twice before calling it a day and Ekin-Su blamed “a rollercoaster of ups and downs” for their problems.
Their first split came a year after they won, but the couple gave things another go and flew to Turkey, where Ekin-Su’s family reside. Speculation about the pair’s romance has risen online and fans have a few theories about the reality stars.
Due to the success of the recent Love Island: All Stars series, critics have wondered whether the pair will ever go back on the ITV show and reconcile.
