Jess Impiazzi admits there’s one thing she’d change about her Celebrity Big Brother experience.
The former glamour model turned actress appeared on the reality show in 2018 for the special Year of the Woman series alongside the likes of Corrie’s Amanda Barrie, politician Ann Widdecombe and Drag Queen Courtney Act.
She spent four weeks and four times in the most famous house in Britain and came fourth place in the grand final. Despite sailing through to the end without one single nomination from her houseates, Jess says there is one thing she’d change about her time on the show.

Speaking to Daily Star on behalf of BetVictor Casino, Jess said: “I would have had my series filmed in the summer. All my people, everyone I had, exactly how it was but in the summer because it was b***dy freezing. I could never tell what time was because it got dark so early because it was winter. I would have preferred it in the summer.”
Jess also revealed that the contestants struggle with the boredom while taking part in the social experiment programme. she said: “I got used to having no phone quickly and having to think for yourself was nice. You get bored in there but you start using your imagination so it’s good for you brain going in there.
“I got so so excited when we had the tasks because you don’t have anything to entertain yourself. We made a checkerboard out of bottle lids and nail varnish but that was gone. Big Brother came and took it when we were sleeping.”
There are extreme measures show producers put in place to make sure the housemates don’t find out who else is going to appear on the show before the launch night. Jess explained: “They pick you up a couple of days before and you go to a secret hotel. When your walking around your hotel, you’ve got to wear your hood up to no one sees you and you can’t go around on your own. You can’t just be around roaming the hotel. It’s a top secret operation and I felt like I was in the FBI.”
When asked if she managed to find out who would be joining her in the house, she explained: “I had seen things in the paper. I was trying to Goggle before going in but they are very careful in the hotel that none of you see each other. I heard speculation of Ann Widdecombe but I didn’t hear anyone else.”
Celebrity Big Brother airs Sunday to Friday on ITV1, STV and ITVX at 9pm
