Fern Britton admitted she often ditches her underwear.
During Monday’s instalment (March 11) of the ITV show, reality star Lauren Simon walked into the kitchen and spoke to Fern and Zeze Mills about the shower. The former This Morning presenter, 66, then admitted to only buying “big proper women’s pants”.
TV presenter Zeze, 34, agreed as she responded: “Oh I love a big knicker. I’m not a fan of the knicker line or sometimes depending on the material I just go commando.”

Fern then said it was easy to wear no underwear in jeans. Zeze admitted she could never go commando in jeans, adding: “Imagine wearing no underwear with jeans.”

“I do,” Fern said. “It’s fine.” And it seems Fern’s daughters have plenty to say on the matter. She told Zeze: “My girls are revolting to me. They say, ‘How can you?’ but then say, ‘Actually it’s alright because you’re so old you’re all dried up down there.'”
Fans raced to social media to share their thoughts on the matter – and a lot of them weren’t best pleased. One wrote: “Daytime legend or not, thinking of Fern’s dry noonie has put me right off.”

Another baffled viewer penned: “Having the courage to actually admit that you wear jeans without underwear??? CBBUK.” A third said: “Couldn’t think of anything worse then not wearing underwear with jeans.”
Someone else exclaimed: “WHY WOULD YOU NOT WEAR PANTS WITH JEANS FERN???” Another agreed: “Fern going commando in jeans is something I did NOT need to know.” A sixth weighed in: “Jeans with no underwear is criminal #CBBUK.”

The second round on nominations arrived during the episode. It was revealed that Zeze, Lauren and Louis would be facing the public vote. But the housemates learned there was a twist in store.
After being given permission to watch the nominations, Big Brother gave Sharon Osbourne the power to save one of her co-stars from the public vote. The former X Factor judge decided to save Zeze, but was then tasked with choosing another housemate to take her place. Sharon chose to nominate Fern.
