Fern Britton was given a five-word response by Louis Walsh after it was announced she tried to have him evicted.
Things have been heating up in the Celebrity Big Brother House as the housemates gear up for the impending eviction on Tuesday night (March 19). However, one housemate who will be sitting pretty is music mogul Louis Walsh.
During Monday night’s instalment (March 18), the House was plunged into celebrations as the group marked St. Patrick’s Day. However, former This Morning host Fern Britton was given a secret mission to evict one housemate by placing a snake on their pillow.

Britton opted for former X Factor judge Louis, but what Fern did not know was that instead of immediately banishing him, the snake gave him immunity from the next eviction. As a result, with the final just days away, it is likely that Louis has now reached the final – much to the dismay of his fellow housemates.
After carrying out her task, Fern was immediately regretful and retreated into herself for much of the rest of the night. When asked how she was doing by Big Brother, Fern broke down and apologised for her actions, but thanked producers for “checking in”.
Now, on Tuesday’s episode, Fern comes clean about her role in pushing Louis to the next stage of the show. In scenes that will air during the live eviction, Britton addresses the scandal and admits it was her who put the snake in Louis’ bed.
A distraught Walsh confronts Britton afterwards, giving his five-word assessment of the situation. “F***ing hell – was it you?” he asks Fern.
Fern confirms it was her who put the snake in the bed, adding that she was remorseful as the pair had gotten close during their time in the House. However, Louis saw the bright side of things and laughed her concerns off.
In an effort to give her some comfort, the 71-year-old chuckled and said: “It’s fine!” and the pair embraced. An emotional Fern then began to well up once again as she praised Louis for his humility in the situation.
It comes ahead of the next public eviction, which will see two housemates being booted from the House, set to take place on Tuesday night. Fern will face eviction alongside Olivier Award-nominated actress Marisha Wallace, Strictly pro Nikita Kuzmin and TV presenter Zeze Millz.
Celebrity Big Brother airs every Sunday to Friday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
