Telly funnyman Leigh Francis has revealed his toilet was haunted in his old gaff in Camden.
The Celebrity Juice star and his wife Jill bought their new home after he found fame with hit comedy series Bo’ Selecta!
Leigh, 51, revealed: “The house was a new build, originally a row of garages that the previous owners knocked down to build their dream home, but unfortunately the lady’s husband died so she didn’t want to live there any longer.

“The only weird thing was that in the evening, sometimes we’d hear noises coming from the downstairs toilet.
“As if the toilet seat was lifting up and slamming back down. It was very strange.
“Later, when we left that house, our friend who had ‘the gift’ told us she could feel a presence there.
“I didn’t know back then that the owner’s husband had died in the house..
“But, hey, if I had walked in on a ghost sat on the toilet I would’ve just said, ‘Excuse me, sir – oh, and if you see my dad, tell him I’m doing fine. Enjoy your poo.’”
That reference was to his late father Thomas Spencer – Spen – who died aged just 47 from cancer in 1995.
In his new book Leigh, Myself and I, the Leeds-born comedian speaks poignantly about his loss and said he was by his side when he slipped away.
He added: “At night I would sleep with my bedroom door open in the hope that my dad might visit me. He didn’t.
“Mum invited a spiritualist to the house and I’m not sure what she said to Mum, but she told me Dad stood where my guitar was at the end of my bed. So I moved it.
“I wanted to see him again, but I didn’t want him looking at me in bed.
“The spiritualist also said she saw me moving to London. I’d have a job doing some kind of commentating.
“She could see wires on the floor, and I would work with someone called Alan. I’d live in a house that had a lot of glass and she could see a lot of plants.
“She told me of a little man standing on the landing who protected me. That bit was strange because I used to wake up laughing when I was a kid, and when Mum asked what I was laughing at I’d say, ‘At the little man at the end of my bed.’ Weird, in’t it?”
