Cher has previously confessed to a wild fling with a woman during her youth back in the 1960s.
The powerhouse songstress is known for her amazing voice, incredible outfits and dazzling personality after many years in the spotlight have made her a household name. However, what some fans may not know is that the starlet once got it on with a woman during the height of her fame.
While discussing the experience, Cher played it off as “something to try” and noted her “free spirit” back in the 60s. She previously said: “It was just something to try, I mean, in my family I was the person that was the freest. Also, it was the 60s and the 60s were so open.”

“Freedom was something that people were trying on, like hang-gliding,” said the chart-topping icon. The 60s and 70s were a time of sexual liberation, so Cher’s stint may not come as a surprise to some.
The songstress has spoken openly about her sex life and her views on sex throughout her career, which has spanned over 50 years. She once had a fling with Tom Cruise and has rated him among her top lovers ever.
Cruise and Cher began their relationship back in the 80s, which some of their fans may not be aware of. The powerhouse couple were often papped together after they met in 1985 at Madonna’s wedding to Sean Penn, which was held in Malibu.
Soon after, they met again at the White House before they started dating – at the time, Cher was 38 and Tom was 23. She had already been married and divorced twice by the time they got together.
Cher once said that the couple had a “deep connection” with each other and called Cruise one of her “greatest lovers ever”. Years after their relationship was over, Cher spoke about it in 2018 and explained: “A bunch of people who were dyslexic were invited to the White House, and Tom and I are both dyslexic. We didn’t go out [until] way later, but there was definitely a connection there.”
She also told Andy Cohen: “I had just the greatest lovers ever. Not a long list. It’s just a good list […] He wasn’t a Scientologist then. It was pretty hot and heavy for a little minute. He’s a great guy. The person that I knew was a great and lovable guy.”
