Kaleb Cooper, star of Clarkson’s Farm, has expressed his frustration and ambition to own his own farm.
The 25 year old is renowned for being Jeremy Clarkson’s right-hand man on the Amazon Prime show. Jeremy Clarkson, the former Top Gear presenter, bought Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds in 2008 before deciding to try farming in 2019.
The journey has been captured on the Prime Video series, which is set to return for its third season next week. Kaleb has been passionate about farming since he was 13 and worked on the grounds in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, before Jeremy took over.

The Chipping Norton local has always dreamed of running his own farm but disclosed that he can’t at the moment due to escalating costs. “Everything’s through the roof,” he told The Telegraph ahead of the new series. “And I don’t want to move away from the place I love most.”
Kaleb labelled the situation as “frustrating” but vowed to persevere until he realises his dream. He added: “That’s why I’m so busy doing everything possible to get to that dream [of buying a farm]… I’m going to do it one day.”
Despite the huge success of Clarkson’s Farm, Kaleb confessed that farming takes precedence over his TV career and won’t let his newfound fame deter him from buying his own farm.
“There’s always a lot of talk of, ‘Don’t change, Kaleb, don’t do this and don’t do that,’ but that really annoys me,” he confessed to Amazon. “I’m 25 years old, yes, but I started my business at 13 years old with some chickens and I then started my contracting business at 16, so I’ve been doing this a long time and with everything that I do, it’s got to revolve around my business.”
Kaleb went on: “I’m not going to chuck away my main business, the thing that feeds me, just because I’m on TV. I work every day.”
“Farming isn’t a job for me, it’s a way of life and I love that way of life. My dream is to buy my own farm and that is what I’m aiming towards.”
The father-of-two continued: “There’s something that’s stuck in my head continuously: dreams don’t work unless you do. Farming isn’t a job for me, it’s a way of life and I love that way of life.”
