Coronation Street heartthrob Rupert Hill looks complete unrecognisable after a drastic career change.
The actor was best known for playing Jamie Baldwin on the ITV soap from 2004-2008 and then again in 2011. Jamie was the son of Danny Baldwin who was played by TV icon Bradley Walsh and grandson of Mike Baldwin who was portrayed by late actor Johnny Briggs.
Known for his handsome looks and baby face features, Jamie dated a number of women on the famous street including Leanne Battersby and Maria Sutherland. But nowadays, actor Rupert looks very different.

Sporting a bushy beard with grey strands of hair, Rupert has ditched his boyish looks. The TV star who was known for his thick light brown locks, now has slicked back hair.
But Rupert’s dashing looks isn’t the only thing that fans may be surprised about. The former Corrie star has stepped away from the limelight and now works as a pub landlord.
The star may not have got the opportunity to own the famous Rovers Return in his acting days but he now has his own pub in Manchester in real life. Rupert recently took to Instagram to announce the news.
He wrote: “Taking over #lloyds in Chorlton with @jbfotografick . Opening this Thursday with a big refurb scheduled for September. Going to create a beautiful drinking venue with an incredible live music and events space! More details coming soon.”
He then later headed back on his platform to share images of his venue. He captioned his post: “Look at our new pub @thelloydschorlton in Chorlton.
“It’s a beautiful building and will be even beutifuller after our full refurbishment in September!! Come say hi x #lloydschorlton #pub #chorlton #manchesterpubs #jukebox #soberlandlord.”
Seeing his wholesome posts, fans congratulated the star. One social media user said: “How exciting! Congratulations on the continuation of your pub monopoly dude.”
While another penned: “Excellent news! See you in there.”
Rupert’s new venue is the second pub that he’s taken over to renovate in Manchester with his pal, Jonny Booth. The TV star previously saw success with his bar The Parlour.
Talking to the Manchester Evening News about the venture, he said: “‘From day one, we’ve found this shared passion for taking weary and underperforming pubs with bags of potential and breathing new life into them, bringing them back into the community, creating places that people love to be in. It’s always felt like a worthwhile endeavour.”
