Coronation Street Joel Deering’s next ‘dodgy’ move revealed and it’s ‘not looking good’

Coronation Street’s latest teasers reveal Joel Deering is up to no good again, leaving Lauren Bolton and Dee-Dee Bailey baffled by his antics.

In a sneak peek of this week’s episodes, fans will see Dee-Dee visiting Lauren in the hospital as her little one Frankie recovers from a seizure. However, Lauren’s got her eyes glued to a tracker, convinced Joel’s on some shady business.

Lauren tellsDee-Dee: “I can’t stop looking at that tracker. Joel’s movements are dead dodgy.” When quizzed by her mate on what she means, Lauren explains: “He spent ages the other day in some field. I looked it up online but it was just some woodland but then he went into his industrial park for an hour. I can’t have no idea what he’s playing at.”

Dee-Dee tries to calm her down, saying: “Look you don’t need to. It’s not your problem to solve, Lauren. You just need to rest and get your strength up. He can’t hurt you anymore.”, reports the Liverpool Echo. But Lauren’s not having any of it, insisting: “Whatever he’s doing is involving me.” She then shows Dee-Dee a baffling bank transfer on her phone of £5,000 from Joel.

She says: “There’s been no explanations, no demands, no nothing. He’s walking around Manchester randomly and sending me cash. I mean, what’s that about?.” Dee-Dee, fresh from dumping Joel after the bombshell that he got Lauren pregnant and treated her badly, dropped a hint: “It could be our wedding rings. He said he was going to pawn them but maybe instead of giving them to a women’s charity he decided to give them to you but they weren’t worth that much.”

Lauren offered an apology to Dee-Dee but was quick to console her by saying it would have been the “biggest mistake” of her life. The young lass pressed: “That money won’t get me into any trouble will it? ” Legal eagle Dee-Dee shot back: “You’re a witness in this trial. A cash transaction like that does not look good for Joel, especially with his pre-hearing this week.”

Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX
