Former Coronation Street star Sean Ward has made his debut in a new career far away from the cobbles.
Ward, 35, became the ultimate villain in Weatherfield in 2015 when he took on the role of bad boy Callum Logan on the ITV soap. After terrorising the Platt family for months after learning he was the father of Kylie’s son Max, Callum was eventually killed when he was hit over the head by Kylie and Sarah Platt.
Callum’s departure shocked viewers and formed the basis of a huge plot that engulfed the family as they buried Callum’s body beneath Gail’s so-called “granny annex”. But following his exit from the soap, things turned dark for Ward as he struggled to make ends meet.

Things were only worsened when some of Sean’s own fans clashed with the actor when he voice his discontent for the lockdowns during the pandemic, going as far as to be arrested at anti-lockdown protests in London in 2021. He added that his life completely fell apart went from making £120k down to just £12k.
Speaking about his backing behind the anti-lockdown protests, he wrote on Instagram at the time: “I know deeply how lonely this can be and isolating, after trying to take my own life in 2018 after discovering the evil on this planet and no one caring. I decided using whatever s**tty little platform I’d built through my acting career to at least try sieve through the propaganda together and thereby sabotaging my own reasonably successful career – to go from earning 120K a year to 12K a year, sleeping on a mate’s mattress is actually unfathomable to most people.”
Now, he has made a huge career move as he leaves acting behind and made his debut on the catwalk. Ward was spotted posing as a model walking down the runway of Paris Fashion Week on Thursday (January 18).
Sporting a navy velvet two-piece outfit with an overcoat and a pair of knee-length shorts, Sean looked chic as he strutted his stuff down the runway. He also wore a pair of black shoes and a pair of black sheer socks to add an element of extravagance to his ensemble.
Ward was a model in the LGN Louis Gabriel Nouchi Menswear show for the autumn and winter seasons. Sharing a snap of his time on the catwalk, he admitted that nerves were getting the better of him as he made his way down the path.
“Last night I walked by first show at Paris Fashion week as a model,” he beamed. “I only say this because I’m not a model – I’m an actor, I can play other people.
“So last night I acted as a model!” he continued. “Thank you to LGN for trusting me to bring my blue steel all the way from Manchester.”
He added that he had developed some “imposter syndrome” due to his lack of modelling experience, but was happy to have pushed through it. “We bringing seggsy back, swipe!” he finished the post.
Fans were quick to gush over the actor, with one fan penning in the comments: “Looking SO GOOD Sean!” Whilst Denise Welch simply offered a one-word tribute and branded him “gorgeous”.
