Fans of Coronation Street seem to think they’ve spotted another clue which indicates Gary Windass is linked to Mason.
Over the last few months, Mason and Dylan have been bullying Maria’s son Liam. On Monday night’s show (February 19), Sean has found the messages on Dylan’s phone, which proved that he had been bullying Liam.
Although Dylan tried to deny it at first, Sean was devasted when he saw the abusive messages that were sent to Liam. Some of the messages that were sent to Liam were also homophobic which left Sean in tears.

However, at the end of the show Mason arrived at Dylan’s house. When Dylan tried to explain that he landed himself in hot water with his dad Sean, Mason told him that he could be bullied too if he drops his name into it.
But before Sean’s discovery, fans were certain they worked out a link between Mason and Gary, when they saw Gary push Mason to the ground in rage. Mason didn’t seem at all moved by Gary’s behaviour, which could indicate that Mason knows more about Gary’s past – and this could also mean Mason may have a connection to Rick Neelan, who Gary killed.
After seeing the rough fans, headed over to X formerly known as Twitter. One viewer wrote: “The thing is, Liam, Mason doesn’t know what Gary’s capable of.”
While another said: “Careful Mason! Gary will bury you in the woods in the middle of the night in five minutes.”
Speaking about the upcoming storyline and Liam’s recovery, Samia Longchambon who plays Liam’s mother Maria told The Mirror and other associated press: “Maria is really paranoid, and understandably so, given that Liam is from the Connor family and we have all been through similar when Aidan Connor (Liam’s cousin) committed suicide, so I don’t think she will be able to leave Liam alone without fearing the worst.
“This is going to be an ongoing issue for Liam. We are considering all options from homeschooling to counselling. Of course, when it comes to mental health, there’s unfortunately a massively long waiting list. I think the great thing about this storyline is that we are doing it in real time. We aren’t rushing this at all and doing everything as it would happen.”
