Corrie’s Tyrone star Alan Halsall has split from his ITV co-star Tisha Merry after five years together.
The couple first met whilst both working on the much-loved ITV soap. Alan, 41, has played long-standing cast member and soap mechanic Tyrone Dobbs for 26 years.
Whereas, Tisha, 30, was on the show for five years starring as waitress Steph Britton but left in 2019. A source told The Sun: “Alan and Tisha had a lot of love for each other and had really similar interests, enjoying socialising and going on holiday together.

“But they started to drift apart and feel the pressure of making their relationship work get on top of them. They realised they weren’t on the same page and splitting up felt like the best option.

The source added that they’ve been focusing on themselves and surrounding themselves with their friends. They also claimed that Tisha moved out of Alan’s home last month ago and is focusing on her work.
Last year, Alan was forced to pull out of I’m A Celeb after he had to have a major knee operation. The actor injured himself while exercising.

Tisha has taken down all snaps of Alan from her social media. Whereas, Alan has been sharing snaps of his daughter on Instagram calling her his “Valentine” this year.
Alan has a daughter Sienna, 10, with his ex-wife and former Corrie and Hollyoaks actress Lucy-Jo Hudson. The pair were wed from 2009 – 2018.

Alan and Tisha were first good pals before they entered any romantic territory with one another. In 2020, she told OK Magazine: “It’s nice we built a strong foundation before anything romantic.”
