EastEnders fans were left squirming at their screens as Cindy and Ian Beale attempted to enjoy some alone time.
The beloved couple made their return to Walford last year – much to the shock of their fellow residents. As fans will recall, Cindy (Michelle Collins) was supposedly killed off-screen in 1998 during childbirth.
But the fan-favorite never actually died in childbirth, as fans were told, and instead was put into witness protection and given a new identity, Rose Sawyer.

And in 2023, it was revealed that Cindy was actually alive and living in France, with her husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt). And in another huge twist, it turned out Cindy was the mother of Gina and Anna and ex-to George Knight (Colin Salmon) who had just moved to Walford.

Cindy and Ian eventually rocked back up to Albert Square but since her comeback, Cindy has caused plenty of drama – including cheating on Ian twice.
Not only did she end up kissing George, but last week in steamy scenes Cindy also romped George’s estranged son Junior. Despite Cindy insisting it can’t happen again, the pair have carried on with their flirty remarks, teasing yet another romp.

And during Tuesday’s episode (June 11) Cindy attempted to enjoy some alone time with Ian – who pulled his back out at the gym. But their rendezvous got plenty of people talking.
After pouring the wine, Cindy turned her beau Ian around and bent him over the table. She then started to massage Ian’s back as he moaned out in ecstasy.

But things took an awkward turn when mum Kathy Beale (Kathy Beale) walked in – disgusted by what she was seeing. And it appears she was not the only one.
Cringing fans soon rushed over to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts. One person said: “Kathy looking completely unsurprised that Cindy would be pegging Ian over the table.”

Someone else added: “And now Kathy will always know that Ian eats and gets pegged there, it will be talked about for years to come over that very same table at Christmas.”
A third quipped: “Good grief.” Another proclaimed: “Ian being pegged by Cindy, can’t watch,” as a fifth also found the moment rather awkward and wrote: “I just died.”

A sixth chimed in on the social media platform and penned: “Truly obsessed with #eastenders including a scene of Cindy pleasuring Ian on the kitchen table tonight.”
Meanwhile, on a Reddit thread, one person penned: “Eww I really don’t want the image of Ian Beale getting all fifty shades in my head.” A second wrote: “Poor Kathy when she walked in.”
