Fans of Dancing on Ice appear to be up in arms once again after professional skater Vanessa Bauer was partnered with another talented and attractive celeb.
The 27-year-old took to the ice for her first dance on Sunday (January 21) alongside Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire. Skating to Hard To Handle by The Black Crowes, the pair left viewers at home mesmerised as they put on a spectacular and confident performance.
Vanessa and Miles’ routine was also a hit with the judges, who scored them a respectable 26 points. The skating duo were in third place on the leaderboard but was closely behind Adele Roberts and Eddie the Eagle who both scored 27.5 alongside their pro partners.

But despite their well-earned scores, fans seemed to be annoyed with the fact that Vanessa had managed to bag herself another celeb who appears to be good on the ice. In addition to this, some felt it was strange that she was paired with yet another handsome man in this series too.
Noticing the pattern, fans headed over to X formerly known as Twitter to share their thoughts. One social media user said: “Why does Vanessa get partnered with the strongest skater every single year?!”
Another penned: “Vanessa always gets given the young good looking ones that can already skate. I don’t why they keep setting her up for the final as there are other professional skaters on there that are just as good.”
A third echoed: “Same old #DancingOnIce pairing Vanessa with the young guy that likely doesn’t have many commitments so can therefore be at the rink more. They should’ve paired her with one of the more mature males.”
While another chimed: “Has Vanessa ever been given somebody who is a complete duffer? Don’t know why they give her the favourite male every year. Dull.”
Despite some backlash, others were rooting for Miles and Vanessa. One person shared: “To all those of you who are slating Vanessa, has it ever occurred to you that it may just be that Vanessa is an amazing professional that strives to get the best out of her partners. As do ALL of the pros. Also if you could all remember the be kind movement.”
Vanessa won Dancing on Ice in 2018 alongside TV star Jake Quickenden. She has also landed in herself in the final on numerous occasions and has taken the second spot.
Last year, Vanessa was a runner-up with her Joey Essex. The year before that she was in the final with Brendan Cole but the pair did not win.
