Dancing On Ice fans have been left raging over the same thing during tonight’s finale episode.
Finalist Adele Roberts performed a country-western themed routine to Beyonce’s new single Texas Hold ‘Em, but fans were less than impressed with her show opener. The Dancing On Ice judges all awarded her the highest score of 10 each, which meant fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts.

One person said: “Adele hardly skated at all. Ridiculous scores,” while another person said: “Sorry but Adele didn’t know what she was doing there, she messed up so many times.” Another person said that they “couldn’t put their finger on it” but that there was “something missing” from her routine.
Other viewers slammed the judges for their scores and said they could “tell it is the final” due to the top marks all round. Another critic quipped: “Oh behave. Gonna be a 10 fest tonight. Needn’t have judges for the final.”
More posts read that Adele was “ahead” of her fellow dancers “at times” while someone else said she “didn’t do much actual skating” and was “carried and assisted” throughout. However, some people loved Roberts’ show and one fan said: “Adele deserves to win! There is no doubt the woman can skate and is an inspiration.”
More fans rushed to compliment the star as they admitted they are “rooting for her”. The episode comes just hours after it was announced that Greg Rutherford was forced to drop out of the final due to an injury.
His professional skating partner Vanessa James wrote on Instagram: “Unfortunately, Greg has sustained a significant injury this morning at rehearsals and won’t be able to perform tonight. We are on our way to the hospital for Greg to get examined further and receive the treatment he needs.”
Rutherford was already healing from an injury which he was worried may cause him to leave the competition early. He spoke to The Mirror about his woes and said that he was “gutted at first” and that the incident was “classic him”.
Greg said it was “an injury right at the wrong time” but “due to Sharon,” the on-show physiotherapist, he’d been “going and doing well”.
