Danny Dyer has said he lost money starring in breakout movie Human Traffic – on boozing.
The actor played Moff in the cult classic about drug-taking and the rave scene of the 1990s. But he said he was partying so much off set during filming that he ended up out of pocket.
Danny, 46, revealed: “My bar bill at the end of the job was bigger than me wages. I actually went home in debt.
“We partied a lot – and we made a film in-between.

“It was like an amazing holiday, you’re up each other’s arses every day. It was just about young people who go out, get f***ed up, talk a lot of s***, dance around, cuddle each other, have a comedown and go back to work — roll the credits.
“I mean, it’s not f**in’ Oppenheimer. It’s not gonna make you feel thick while watching it. You know what I mean?”
Danny starred opposite John Simm, who played Jip, and the pair shared a famous scene where they shouted the catchphrase “Nice one, bruvva!” at each other. He grinned: “We pushed that to the absolute f***ing extreme. I just went f***in’ crackers on it, which I was allowed to do.
“Moff being the biggest f**ing cane-head in it — I could really play that. It was my first outing to really express my… Cockney-ism, whatever you want to f***ing call it.
“I always believed that when the film came out, it was going to change my life. Which proved to be true.”
The flick was written and directed by first-time filmmaker Justin Kerrigan whose first question at auditions was whether the hopefuls had ever taken drugs. He told Empire magazine: “Before the actors did a reading, I wanted to find out in our opening pleasantries what their experience was in the scene.
“I could always tell. The one that was most obvious was Danny.”
Danny added: “I suppose it’s usually a no-no —when you walk into an audition, you don’t talk about how many drugs you’re taking. Of course, I answered honestly.”
