Dave Grohl’s wife is reportedly seeking solace in the arms of a major Hollywood star for support.
Earlier this week, the Foo Fighters star, 55, confirmed he had recently fathered a child with another woman. The drummer tied the knot to his loyal wife Jordyn Blum, 48, in 2003 and share three daughters together.
The musician – who was also in Nirvana in the nineties – made the lengthy admission on Instagram. He insisted that he loves his family and will do “everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”

Now, it is understood his wife Jordyn Blum is being supported by close friend Kate Hudson as she comes to terms with his bombshell news. Rumours suggest the 48-year-old mum has already hired a divorce attorney in an effort to move on from the drama.
Reports claim Kate has been offering up her advice on how best to deal with the situation. It has been claimed the Bride Wars beauty has been left “disgusted” by the rocker’s infidelity.
An insider told MailOnline: “Jordyn is getting major support from one of her besties – Kate Hudson. She was surprised and disgusted that at Dave’s age he’s still cheating on not only Jordyn, but their girls too.”
Dave and Jordyn share three daughters together, Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10. The source continued: “”[She even sent] her a huge basket of balloons with personalised phrases on them including Stay Strong.
“Kate told Jordyn she’s there for her 24/7 and not to hesitate to pick up the phone even if it’s for a good cry or if she needs her to come over for a hug and a heart to heart.” They added that Kate would be happy to stay with her friend in her time of need if that was what she wanted.
Although the duo are rarely seen together, it’s thought the pair – who follow each other on social media – share a close bond. On Tuesday (September 10), Grohl shared his shocking confession on social media.
He wrote: “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
Despite the backlash he received from his shocking admission, he has received support from his former flame Jennifer Finch, who he dated in the early 1990s. Speaking to TMZ, she defended him, describing him as a “top-tier dad and friend”.
It has been claimed that she has recent experience of his “family dynamic” after touring with the Foo Fighters over the summer. Fans will have to stay tuned to see what more drama will be revealed from their cheating scandal.
