Deadpool 3 trailer drops during Super Bowl as Ryan Reynolds returns as ‘Marvel Jesus’

Deadpool fans are buzzing as the new movie trailer landed during the Super Bowl. Marvel kept their promise and dropped the fresh Deadpool teaser, and it was a hit with the crowd.

The cheeky superhero flick first hit screens in 2016, starring Ryan Reynolds as the mouthy Deadpool. He’s not your usual hero he’s got a sharp tongue and saves the day, but he’s not always happy about it. The fans were all hyped up for the big reveal, but they only got a sneak peek on TV and had to hop online to see the whole thing.

The trailer kicks off with Wade Wilson’s birthday bash, where he calls himself the “luckiest man alive.” But things go south fast when some mystery agents show up at his door. Wade throws a cheeky jab their way: “Pegging isn’t new for me, friendo, but it is for Disney.”

Then, in true Deadpool style, Wade dives into a whirlwind of action, gets zapped through a portal, and finds himself getting grilled. It looks like the third chapter will have him suiting up as Deadpool for another wild ride. And with a nod to the fans, Deadpool teams up with some well-known faces, calling himself the “Marvel Jesus.”

The tease for a happy ending has gotten fans buzzing but, as we know with superhero films, it can mean little. Since nothing has shaken up the Deadpool universe since 2018, fans really got their hopes up with this reveal. An eager fan seeing top box office numbers exclaimed: “Marvel Jesus. Now let’s beat Captain America Civil War … ah and don’t tell me Loki will not be in the movie now…”

“Deadpool and Wolverine!” commented one fan, suggesting a potential alliance with Deadpool. Another chimed in saying: “Really looking forward to this movie.”

Despite spotting a potential downside, other fans remain hyped. They confessed: “Deadpool 3 AKA Deadpool and Wolverine is about to be the most over-the-top Fan Service superhero movie ever made, and I couldn’t be more excited.”
