Eamonn Holmes has been spotted in a wheelchair as he continues to battle “draining and debilitating” back pain.
The GB News presenter, 64, has been dealing with chronic pain for the last few years, which he has previously said could have started when he dislocated his pelvis. The former This Morning star has had a tough time, undergoing a procedure to relieve pressure on his sciatic nerves in 2022 and then suffering a fall not long afterwards.
He has since been going through rehab, updating his fans on social media every now and then. And now new snaps in the Mirror have shown him in a wheelchair in London, where he is apparently having regular physio sessions. The TV legend was clutching walking sticks, which he also sometimes uses to get around.

A source said Eamonn – who is married to Loose Women star Ruth Langsford – is “in pain a lot of the time” but that he is still loving his work.
“Eamonn has been using walking aids for around 18 months now so not much has changed unfortunately,” they said of the star’s ongoing struggle with pain. “He is doing everything he can but the lack of progress from the physio has obviously been a bit frustrating. But he continues to have physio sessions pretty much every day and continues to work hard in his rehabilitation.”
The presenter has been supported by fans throughout his treatment and recovery, with many calling him “inspiring” whenever he posts about it on Instagram. A few weeks ago Eamonn shared a photograph that showed him going through rehab, which he admitted was “more painful than it looks”.
“You are a trooper Eamonn,” one person remarked. “Keep going my lovely. You are well loved & admired by many, we are all wishing you well.”
“Willing you strength and healing vibes to get back to full health,” said another. One fan penned: “What a stalwart you are Eamonn. Inspiring actually. Thinking of you…you’re helping others by showing the process of your treatment… people won’t feel so alone… don’t underestimate that,” posted someone else.
