Former EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison looked incredible as she wowed in a glamorous snap.
The soap icon, shot to fame playing Heather Trott on the BBC soap – making her debut back in 2007. As the best mate of Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) she quickly became a firm-favourite with viewers.
From her unrequited love with Minty Peterson to a shock pregnancy with Darren Miller, Heather had many different storylines throughout her five-year run on the show. However, in 2012, the character was killed off – leaving fans gutted.

Fans will recall how she was bludgeoned to death by Ben Mitchell with a photo frame. And the George Michael and karaoke-loving sidekick of Shirley has been greatly missed since.

Since her exit, Cheryl has kept busy starting in the likes of Loose Women and the 10th season of the reality competition Celebrity Big Brother. She also had a lead role in the Catherine Tate a Netflix comedy Hard Cell in 2022.
And on Wednesday (February 21) she took to her X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a glamorous snap. Looking sensational, Cheryl rocked a full face of glam and sparkly cardigan.

The TV favourite accessorised with a silver necklace and wore her brunette locks in tight curls. Posing for the snap, she oozed glamour and style – looking rather different from her character.
But in the caption, Cheryl asked fans for help as the blue tick on the platform has been removed from her account. She penned: “Can anyone explain why my verification tick has gone / been taken away ? Haven’t done anything wrong on this platform?”
Fans were quick to dish out the compliments to Cheryl. One person : “I have no explanation for why your tick has gone but I just want to say how amazing you look in this picture x.”
Someone else added: “You’re looking beautiful Cheryl.” A third gushed and replied to her snap: “Looking so gorgeous Cheryl.”
Off-screen, Cheryl’s love life has been as dramatic as Heather’s. She was married to her first husband Jamshed Saddiqi from 2000 to 2008, with whom she had a son, and then moved on to a man she met online.
Yassine Al-Jermoni is 21 years younger than the actress and the pair hit it off, which she spoke about on Loose Women. “It was very old-fashioned. He didn’t know what I did for a living. I didn’t show him my picture,” she admitted. She went on to explain that they spoke for five months before they met and that “age doesn’t matter”.
