EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley looked worlds away from Karen Taylor in her latest social media post.
The 47-year-old actress stripped down to a black bikini as she posed up a storm for the camera during her holiday in Tenerife. Wearing a cap and sunglasses, the soap star proudly held up a glass of gin as she enjoyed some fun in the sun. She penned alongside her Instagram Story post: “Good vibes only!!! @hrtenerife”.
She also shared a snap of herself standing outside the Hard Rock Hotel wearing a black playsuit. Unsurprisingly, Lorraine’s 176,000 followers rushed to leave a message for the TV personality in the comment section. One fan gushed: “Looking good girl.” Another added: “You look beautiful Lorraine. Miss you on EastEnders.. Best actress on there.” A third social media user said: “Wow Lorraine, you look amazing!”

Karen fled after stealing Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) money. She later returned to Albert Square to search for her missing son Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) but has since fled Albert Square once again. Fans know that Keanu was killed on Christmas Day by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) with ‘The Six’ (Linda, Stacey (Lacey Turner), Suki (Balvinder Sopal), Sharon (Letitia Dean), Denise (Diane Parish) and Kathy (Gillian Taylforth)) fully aware of where his body is buried.
Karen Taylor thought Phil and Sharon were the reason behind her son’s disappearance but after searching for information from Phil, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) and Stacey, she was not able to get any closer to discovering the truth. Bursting into the pub, she confronted Linda, who was already drunk, coming close to making her spill what happened on the BBC show.
Later that evening, Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) found Karen and urged her to take Kathy and Phil’s deal to leave Walford. The EastEnders character told her that Keanu was extremely angry and that he would likely return to Walford later on. Karen took Bernie’s advice to leave Albert Square after apologising to her daughter. While chatting, Karen said she knew people were lying to her and that secrets don’t stay buried for long. She then hopped in a cab before putting on her sunglasses and making her exit from the show.
Opening up on her soap exit, Lorraine posted: “I’m totally overwhelmed with the lovely messages,” she began, reposting a clip of her character from the official BBC Instagram account. “Thank you so much, they really do mean a lot,” she continued, before thanking both her casting agent and Daran Little, an EastEnders writer. “Big shout out … [Daran] for creating the Taylors, and Sean O’Connor for giving me the opportunity,” she added, with three heart emojis at the bottom of the message.
