EastEnders fans reckon a return is on the cards for the “most beautiful character ever to grace the streets of Walford.”
Kheerat Panesar made his debut in 2019 with the rest of the Panesar clan. And it didn’t take long for him to become a fan-favourite.
However, in November 2022 Kheerat abruptly left in shocking scenes – leaving fans gutted. He was arrested and later sentenced to life in prison for murdering Ranveer.

Kheerat was covering for his mother Suki who he believed was the true killer. But in a huge twist, it was later revealed that it was actually Ravi who killed him.

But now, following the return of Nish this week, fans are certain Kheerat could be making a comeback too. Over on a Reddit thread, one fan shared a photo of Kheerat and wrote: “New return?”
Someone else added: “EE were setting him up to be such an iconic character, I’ll forever be grieving.” A third wrote: “Getting Kheerat back would require losing at least one of Suki or Ravi which I would hate to see.”

Another person chimed in and wrote: “He is the most beautiful man ever to grace the streets of Walford. Zac is an excellent second, but no, Kheerat, OMG be still my heart!”
Kheerat left the soap in dramatic fashion two years ago for the murder of Ranveer. Ranveer had propositioned Suki, telling her that he would give her his big business contract in exchange for sex.

So, she set a camera up to catch the sleazy businessman discussing the blackmail. However, Ranveer (Anil Goutam) attempted to force himself on Suki and she hit him over the head in self defence.
Ravi later arrived to find a hysterical Suki standing over what she thought was Ranveer’s lifeless body, before Ravi insisted he would take care of it. In a shocking turn of events, Ranveer regained consciousness and belittled his son, leading Ravi to deliver the final blow that caused his death.
However, Ravi let Suki believe she was responsible for Ranveer’s death, with Kheerat even going to prison to prevent his mum from spending her life behind bars.
