EastEnders spin-off show ‘sealed’ starring soap icon as exit ‘confirmed’ after 39 years

EastEnders fans reckon a spin-off show could be in the works involving a soap legend.

Over in the BBC soap at the moment, the Six are dealing with the discovery of Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) dead body in the cafe. Fans will recall how he was killed by Linda Carter after he attempted to strange Sharon Watts in the Vic.

He was then buried under the cafe with the help of Suki, Stacey, Kathy and Denise – with Sharon then fleeing to Australia shortly after. However, this week, Sharon made her return and much to the shock of the Six, the floor of the cafe caved in.

Keanu’s sister Bernie then stumbled across the body in the cafe and the cops were called. And during Thursday’s episode (April 4) Sharon was greeted by the cops to inform her the dead body was indeed Keanu.

Sharon got arrested in the latest episode

Things took an even more dramatic turn though when Sharon got arrested at the end of the episode. Rocking up to Walford, the cops told Sharon that that new evidence had come to light and were arresting her.

Phil and half-brother Zack Hudson were left stunned and protested her innocence. Distressed, the rest of The Six watched on in the famous square as the cops swiftly escorted an emotional Sharon to the car.

Now, with a prison exit on the cards for soap legend Sharon after being a regular for 39 years, fans are convinced that the show could introduce a spin-off. Similarly to the ITV smash Bad Girls, fans reckon it would follow The Six at their life in prison.

One fan mused: “Am I the only one who thinks #TheSix should go to prison? I don’t want them to go off-screen though.”

The same fan went on: “Keep them onscreen in prison!I want them to show us the struggles they face in prison on screen for a year! Bad Girls style!! Then after a year have Jack frame someone!!”

Someone else added: “Now that would be a good storyline.” A third chimed in on the social media platform and wrote: “This would be so sick. It would be different as well.” Another fan mused: “I was thinking this as well. It would be a brilliant spin-off.”
