The Mitchells are stunned when the police arrive and arrest Ben. Elsewhere Jean worries when Jade returns from hospital and Whitney makes a confession about fostering Britney

Ben throws a surprise party for Callum’s birthday, but things take a turn when the police arrive and arrest Ben. Ben protests his innocence as he is held at the station when details of a previous crime resurface. Elsewhere, Jean is shocked to see Jade back in the Square so soon after her hospital stay. She discovers that Dean has been administrating Jade’s medication and finds the empty pill cases.
Dean arrives home as Jean is attempting to take Jade back to the Slaters, but he thinks on his feet and puts the blame on her. Across the square, Whitney finally returns from Milton Keynes and has Britney with her. Britney reveals that Whitney is her new foster mum and Zack storms out, furious that she didn’t tell him.

Later, Whitney and Britney arrive home where Zack reveals he found food hidden under Britney’s bed and reasons that they need to tell social services. When Whitney takes a call from the social, Lauren overhears and forces Whitney to reveal all.
