EastEnders viewers ‘losing their minds’ as they ‘forgot’ Bianca is related to resident

EastEnders fans have been left gobsmacked after realising Bianca Jackson is related to an unlikely Walford resident.

The soap alum, played by Patsy Palmer, made her epic return to the soap this week as part of the exit storyline for Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty). In the previous episode, Bianca found out that Whitney’s beau Zack had cheated on her.

She was then left even more fuming when she realised he slept with Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa). Determined to tell Whitney the truth, she stormed out off the house.

However, Bianca came across Lauren in the street and quickly slapped her in the face. But Bianca wasn’t done, as she went and slapped Zack (James Farrar) too.

And while fans were over the moon to see feisty Bianca back on screens, others were quick to point out how she is actually related to Lauren. And it’s fair to say some fans have been left stunned at the revelation.

On X, one person said: “I deada** forgot that Bianca and Lauren are cousins.” Someone else added: “Wait I just realised Bianca and Lauren are cousins as well, losing my mind.”

A third penned: “Still forget that Lauren and Bianca are related.” Another wrote: “Not bianca slapping lauren, has she forgotten that laurens her actuall cousin.” In the soap, Bianca’s mum Carol Jackson is the sister of Max Branning, making Lauren and Bianca cousins.

Elsewhere fans will be saying goodbye to Whitney Dean this month as she exits the show. Actress Shona confirmed her departure from the iconic show last year, having joined in 2008, but confessed it was not an easy decision.

Bianca is Lauren’s cousin

She explained in a recent interview with The Sun: “It was a really difficult decision, because it’s all I’ve ever known “I pretty much grew up on the Square, so I feel like I’m leaving home. But I had to put on my big girl pants and be quite brave, because life is so short, and you feel that more and more as you get older.”
