Elvis Presley’s daughter says music legend ‘visited her’ for 25 years after he died

Lisa Marie Presley claimed her dad Elvis made “visitations” to her on a regular basis after he died.

She said the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll came to her for 25 years after his death – and only stopped after her son Ben was born in 1992.

In her newly released memoir written before her own death last year, she said: “Twice a year after he died, I’d dream about my father.

“The dreams were so real that I would cry when I’d wake up because it felt like I was with him and I hadn’t wanted it to end. I’d try so hard to get back to sleep, to be with him again.

“I don’t really believe they were dreams. I believe they were visitations. I know a lot of people will disagree with me and think that’s nonsense.

“You might have these kinds of dreams, too, and blow them off and say they’re just dreams. That’s fine. But I believe that people we love from our past can visit us. And my dad would do that regularly.”

The new book, From Here to the Great Unknown, has been finished by her actress daughter Riley Keough based on tapes that her mother had recorded before she died in January last year aged 54.

Riley has added in her own accounts, including how her mum also spoke with her ex-husband Michael Jackson beyond the grave after his 2009 death.

She said: “My mom told me that she communicated with Michael through her dreams for months after he died.”

Elsewhere the book revealed that Lisa Marie believed she had lived a number of past lives – including a claim that she “was a reincarnated Marie Antoinette”.

She added: “As early as 10 years old I was talking about past lives — I felt like I’d lived them, could remember them at one point, but I can’t remember them anymore. I wish I could.

“I think that we’ve lived before, and I feel like the things I remember have something to do with how I died in some other lifetime.

“I remember when I was young, telling people I was on a horse and buggy or in a carriage at a time when there were no cars. They always thought I was crazy when I said that, but I didn’t raise my own kids to think those kinds of things are crazy.”

Meanwhile, Riley revealed her mum wanted to move to Ireland but chose England instead as she couldn’t find a house without ghosts.

She said: “So my mom had really wanted to move to Ireland, but every property she found she claimed was haunted. She had a very practical and pragmatic connection to ghosts, past lives, spirits.

“One day a realtor took us to a very old house somewhere outside of Cork. She led us down a hallway with pink floral wallpaper and a very low ceiling.

“Before we even reached the living room, my mom said, ‘It’s haunted,’ turned around, and walked right out. She soon settled on England instead.”
