Emmerdale double exit hinted as devastating car crash ends up in arrest twist

Emmerdale fans are in for an explosive week in the ITV Dales.

One beloved character could be about to be killed off after a devastating crash, AI claims. This week, fans will see Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) and Ethan Anderson (Emile John) meet up in the village with Caleb Dingle (William Ash) to discuss becoming buiness partners.

Things quickly took a turn for the worse when Nicky gets a call from Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Ramana) as he enjoyed a drink out in town. As he walks up to the bar, Suni spots one of the men who was part of the homophobic attack in the bar. It doesn’t take long before Nicky jumps into action, but Ethan insists he’ll drive after his friend finished up his beer.

As they drove to get Suni, Ethan sees a police car up ahead. He immediately turns around, afraid of being pulled over for driving over the limit.

As Nicky struggles to get hold of Suni on his phone, Ethan loses control of the car. Soon there’s no sigh of life from Ethan or Nicky in the crashed car. Thankfully, Ethan comes round from the incident and pulls himself and Nicky out of the wreckage.

But when he sees another car approaching, he hides in the bushes as he watches Moira discover an unconscious Nicky on the ground. Ahead of the dramatic scenes, Daily Star has quizzed the world’s most creative AI tool Gemini to see if Nicky could die on in the Dales.

When asked what the TV hunk’s future holds, it explained: “There is a chance Nicky could die on Emmerdale after the car crash. The star is left fighting for his life on the side of the road but only time will tell if doctors can keep him breathing or not.”

As Nicky is rushed to hospital, Ethan confides in his father Charles Anderson over what really happened behind the wheel that night. But after finding out the truth, the vicar is forced to make a difficult decision over his son’s guilt which could tear their family apart. Ultimately, Charles decides to call the police and report his son, leading to his shocking arrest. This could ultimately lead to a second exit this week for Ethan, as he faces serious trouble for his involvement in the crash.

Now, actor Kevin Mathurin has teased the fallout to Charles’ shocking choice and Ethan’s arrest. Speaking about Charles’ decision, he told Daily Star and other press: “I think there’s always that battle between Charles the vicar and Charles the man and the father.

“He wants to do right by his son, obviously, but righteously to do the right thing is to own up, to face the consequences. It is awful for parent to not know the full details of why their child is in hospital whatever the condition is, and I think Charles, as the parishioner of the village, wants to do the right thing and support them as well as support Ethan.”

He went on: “Sometimes doing the right thing doesn’t give you the right results. Obviously, there’s the risk of going to jail, and it’s not the first time he’s sent one of his family members to jail.” Viewers will have to stay tuned to watch the fallout of the devastating car crash.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV1 or catch up on ITVX
