Hayley Tamaddon’s young son was rushed to hospital.
The actress, famed for her roles as Del Dingle on Emmerdale and Andrea Beckett on Coronation Street, shared an update with fans after revealing her four-year-old son Jasper had fallen ill. Taking to Instagram, the 47-year-old wrote: “Thank you for all your gorgeous messages but Jasper has been sick so many times now (mostly over me).
“So nana is driving us to the hospital to get checked.” The former soap star jokingly added: “With her driving we all might need to be checked at this rate!”

Hayley shared a further update as she thanked fans for their support and “gorgeous well wishes”, admitting she’d received hundreds of messages. She continued: “It’s so humbling and heart warming reading them all.”

The Dancing on Ice champion went on to inform fans that Jasper had undergone “lot’s of tests” but was “doing well.” The star added: “Tough little cookie.. wonder where he gets that from,” followed by a winking emoji.
Hayley shares Jasper with her ex fiancé Adrian. The TV star announced they had split on Mother’s Day in 2022 as she revealed she would be celebrating as a single parent.

In a candid post, Hayley confessed her life had been “turned upside down” and she was now raising Jasper alone. She wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day… [red heart emoji] I’ve not posted in a long time, but I thought today was a good time to tell you all, before you hear about it or see it elsewhere..
“This Mother’s Day is different for me, as I’m now a single mum. Mine and jasper’s life has been turned upside down over the past few months.. but I realise the best thing to come out of this is Jasper. For he is all I need.. and all I’ve ever wanted. He makes me so happy!”

Hayley added: “I never set out to be a single parent.. but I DID set out to be the best mum I could be, and that hasn’t changed. I’m so lucky I get to be his mummy. And I’m very proud of myself for overcoming the many obstacles I’ve faced since he was born.
She signed off the post with: “To any other single mamas out there.. I salute you. Have the most wonderful day!” Hayley previously announced her engagement to the estate agent in May 2019, just three weeks after the couple revealed they were expecting their first child.
