Emmerdale Kerry’s mystery caller ‘exposed’ as she’s tormented via text

Emmerdale’s Kerry Wyatt, played by Laura Norton, was left worried on Thursday night as she kept getting mystery calls.

Laura, 40, recently returned to the popular ITV soap after her maternity leave. Her character Kerry made a dramatic return to the Yorkshire village, dropped off at home by PC Swirling. Kerry’s daughter Amy was surprised to see her mum, who had left in 2022 to work on a friend’s cruise ship.

She was even more shocked when she saw Kerry dressed up like Cher. Kerry then explained that she had been wrongly accused of stealing by her fiance, but assured Amy this wasn’t true.

Amy was left speechless, especially when Kerry casually mentioned she has a fiance. Kerry revealed she was engaged to a man named Malcolm after a quick romance, reports the Mirror. However, they had a big argument and she threw his engagement ring into the sea after he accused her of stealing.

Kerry revealed initially Malcolm seemed lovely while supporting her Cher impersonation gigs on cruises. Yet, when a friend mentioned he resembled a stalker, she said: “No, he wasn’t a stalker? Oh my God… he was a stalker! He was really nice at first though.”

Kerry continued to say: “I realised pretty quickly that I’d messed up when I tried to end it, he went mental. He got jealous, that’s when he stitched us up for the robbery! “. Following a spat with Amy, Kerry assured everyone that she just wants to concentrate on being a good mum to her daughter. However, later in the day, the truth came out as Kerry took money and jewellery from her costume.

Recently, Kerry bagged a job at The Woolpack and during Thursday’s episode, she acted oddly. In the latest episode, people in the pub noticed Kerry’s costly boots. She brushed it off saying she saved money from her last cruise gig. But then, Kerry received a strange phone call and looked shocked, making the local customers question if she’s alright.

Later, Kerry got a text from an unknown number which read: “Where are you? Why have you done this? ” She looked worried again, which led Liam Cavanagh to inquire if she’s alright. It raised questions on whether this could this be her ex Malcolm and if he could show up in the village wanting his stolen goods back.
