Entrepreneurs paying thousands to ‘business astrologers’ who promise to make them rich

Top entrepreneurs are handing over thousands of pounds to “business astrologers” who promise to make them rich by reading the planets.

Social media is awash with accounts pushing the narrative of “millionaires don’t use astrology, billionaires do.”

Blu Cameron, who has more than 6,000 TikTok followers, claims countries like the UK will soon follow India where firms hire astrologers to advise them on deals and vet the birth charts of new recruits.

Another, Kathryn Hocking, charges £260 for an hour-long call where customers can “examine the astrological signature” of their business and the meaning of its “inner and outer planet placements”.

In a recent clip she shows her thousands of followers a little shrine she has built in her home with candles which will supposedly boost her business.

She tells them: “I feel like this altar has totally transformed the energy of my office, it feels like a little portal.”

Astrologers believe the positions of planets and stars influence events on Earth.

Some celebs also promote the pseudoscience practice.

Pop star Dua Lipa told the Dish podcast: “I don’t have a therapist, but I have an astrologist.

“If, like, I have a dilemma and I’m like, what’s this month saying?”

Another TikTok astrologer, called DJ Morris, claims to work with billionaires and says “there’s no f***ing excuse to be broke.”

They said in a clip last month: “It’s so wild how so many people are struggling about making money, they think they have to go to school, no you don’t, your chart literally shows you.”

Meanwhile Wirral-based “spiritual life coach” Anne-Marie Mayers advertises a £360 course which promises to “unlock the power of your business’s unique energy”.

But Ryan Marquardt, co-founder of business astrology calendar Bizmos, warned rogues are operating in the industry.

He said: “Avoid the shortcuts and the astrologers who promise you success.

“Astrology doesn’t have any sort of oversight committee, so anyone can pretend to know what they’re talking about.”
