Escape to the Country buyer yells ‘shut up’ as they’re left in tears over property

Escape to the Country househunter Mo told her sister to “shut it” as she broke down in tears in a tear-jerking episode.

Potential buyer Mo was on the prowl for the perfect countryside retreat in Berkshire and Hampshire with a hefty £600k budget. Initially gunning for something modern, Mo had a change of heart mid-search.

Estate agent Sonali Shah played her ace with the last mystery house in quaint Boxford, and it was love at first sight for Mo. “This, this is me. I love it, I love it! ” she exclaimed before even stepping inside. She then declared: “I swore blind I would never do this!” Her sister Sandra, who tagged along, started welling up too, saying: “If she cries, I have to.”

Trying to keep the waterworks at bay, Mo playfully barked at her sis: “Oh shut up!” But the emotional rollercoaster didn’t stop there, as both sisters got all misty-eyed again inside the home.

Spotting her mum’s favourite flowers on the table in the living room, Mo couldn’t help but laugh as Sandra warned her not to kick off another crying session. Looking around the room, Sonali noticed the significance of the lilies and pointedly said: “A sign maybe? “.

Despite the expert’s effort to divert their attention to the fireplace, Mo and her sister couldn’t help but appear touched by the sentimental appeal. Sonali showed support by gently placing her hand on Sandra’s shoulder, as she tried not to get more emotional seeing her sister cry.

But in an attempt to lighten the atmosphere, a teary-eyed Mo chuckled and amusingly stated: “Yeah, that’s done us! It’s put a big smile on my face. It’s fantastic.” After thoroughly inspecting the entire property, Mo seemed overwhelmed, unable to find any faults with the house. Wrapping up their tour, Sonali disclosed the propertys searching price- a whopping £599,500, near the limit of Mo’s budget.

To conclude, Mo shared her strategy to secure this dream abode of hers, which involved speaking to her estate agent regarding her Kent residence for starters then planning a return visit to take another look at the house and negotiate with its seller. If things went according to plan, she’d make an offer.
