Ex-Love Island star Sam Taylor drops huge hint he’s returning to villa with cryptic post

Former Love Island star Sam Taylor appears to have hinted that he’s returning to the ITV villa.

The axed tattooed hunk, 23, was dumped from the villa within 24 hours after bombshell Joey Essex, 33, stole Samantha Kenny, also 33, in a dramatic recoupling. But just days after he was sent packing, the TV star returned to social media – and it’s fair to say he sent fans wild.

Alongside a selfie with the ex-TOWIE star, the hair stylist captioned the post with four side-eye emojis, which sent fans wild. But this isn’t the first time Sam’s hinted to ITV2 viewers that he could return.

As he said goodbye to his fellow Islanders, he promised them he would “see them soon.” It didn’t take long before fans flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to share their suspicions online.

One user penned: “Sam’s coming back in Casa Amor” as another agreed: “Calm down. Sam’s only moving to Casa Amor.” A third chimed in with: “Guys let’s be so fr we’ll be seeing Sam in 2 weeks for Casa or some other twist.”

If Sam does join the Casa Amor villa, he will follow in the footsteps of former Islander Molly Marsh. Last year the brunette beauty was dumped on the spot when ITV alumni Kady McDermott joined the cast.

She was dumped on the spot but surprised viewers when she returned to Casa Amor just two weeks later. A fourth chimed in with: “Calling it now – they’ll bring back mullet Sam in Casa Amor.”

A fourth added: “I feel like they might bring Sam as one of the Casa boys” meanwhile a further comment agreed: “Casa Amor lineup is gonna be sweet.” Joey’s entrance to the villa sent fans crazy, but the TV favourite has insisted that he wants to find a meaningful relationship on the show.

Speaking to The Sun ahead of his villa debut, he said: “I just want someone to like me and now from what they see on TV. This is exactly why I’m going into the villa because you’re disconnected from the rest of the world and can focus on what actually matters on a far deeper level.”

The star has dated a string of famous faces in the past, including Rita Ora and former Islander Maura Higgins. But the star has decided to crack on with “normal” girls.”

What may surprise viewers is that the TV star wasn’t approached to take part on the show, instead he applied to take part like many other applicants in the villa. He told the outlet: “I feel like Joey Bond, ‘the name’s Essex, Joey Essex.

“It felt like a military operation, not even the journey itself but the process of even getting through the application process and to this point. I got on the plane to Ibiza, I made sure I still wore my mask when I went out for dinner, and then we got the boat over to Majorca to a villa hidden in the mountains in the middle of nowhere.”

Viewers will have to stay tuned to see if Sam will return to the ITV villa or not over the next few weeks. Love Island airs every day from 9pm on ITV2 or catch up on ITVX.
