A Youtuber was kicked out of the BAFTAs on Sunday night (February 18) after he invaded the stage with the cast of Oppenheimer.
Lizwani, known for his live event pranks, could be spotted standing on the back of the stage as the stars of the box office smash came up to accept an award. The film, directed by Christopher Nolan, won a slew of gongs during the ceremony, whilst other hit movie Barbie failed to get a single nod.
As the night drew to a close, one of the final awards of the night to be given was Best Film. After Oppenheimer was declared the winner of the award, producer Emma Thomas accepted the award, but not before asking everyone to join her on stage.

It was here when the cheeky prankster joined the line-up, standing alongside lead actor Cillian Murphy and director Nolan. Whilst the cast came on stage, Lizwani stayed behind, standing and smiling – trying hard to blend in with the crowd.
Wearing a black suit and a dark beanie, it was obvious that he was not meant to be a part of the full entourage that had joined producer Emma on stage. But clearly his strategy worked as none of the stars of the film had clocked that he had joined them in a stage invasion.
As Thomas finished her rousing speech, Lizwani was seen tucking something under his shoulder as he joined in with the applause from the crowd. He then proceeded to walk off stage with the cast of the film before being promptly removed by security.
The gatecrasher also failed to garner suspicion from presenter David Tennant and Michael J Fox, who had been tasked with giving the award out itself. Eagle-eyed viewers believe that Lizwani took the chance to go on stage when Emma invited the cast of the film to join her.
As she came up to accept the award, she beamed to her co-stars: “Where are you? Come on all of you!” This then gave Lizwani the perfect opportunity to slip in unnoticed.
And it seems that Lizwani has a track record of popping up in places where he is not supposed to as he has stormed several other ceremonies over the years. To add to the BAFTAs, he also invaded the stage of the MOBOs, the BRITs and even the FIFA Ballon d’Or.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the BAFTAs said: “A social media prankster was removed by security last night after joining the winners of the final award on stage. We are taking this very seriously, and don’t wish to grant him any publicity by commenting further.”
