Popular US YouTuber IShowSpeed has posted a video of him appearing to get singed by his pet robot dog.
Darren Jason Watkins Jr is known for the eccentric videos he puts out under the handle ‘IShowSpeed’. He recently released a video on YouTube showing an encounter with a flame-throwing robot dog based on the Chinese robotics company Unitree’s Go2 model.
The hilarious, but slightly unnerving, clip shows the technological hound chase the influencer around a pool while unleashing flames out of a device strapped to its metal back. When asked to bark by the content creator, the seemingly disobedient beast responds by firing flames at its owner.

There’s lots of quality news coming out of the US .
In order to escape the evil Terminator-esque animal robot, IShowSpeed leaps into a nearby swimming pool while screaming. The YouTuber was kitted out in highly fireproof clothing in order to protect himself from the “attack robot” that he claimed had cost £75,000.
Some people weren’t quite sold on the convincingness of IShowSpeed, questioning the over-the-top nature of his reaction.
“I think he overreacted considering he had fireproof clothes on,” someone wrote. “Like it shot fire at him while he was wearing fireproof clothes he could not get hurt. $100,000 for nothing.”
Another added: “You can clearly see [IShowSpeed’s friend] had a controller tho… i guess it was to control the fire.” Someone else joked: “China sent the dog on a mission.”
The American streamer, 19, has attracted a cult following with young people for his wild antics and exaggerated love for Manchester United hero Cristiano Ronaldo.
His fame has put him in extraordinary situations and recently earned him face-to-face time with the Brazilian Ronaldo, a two-time Ballon d’Or and twice World Cup winner, in January 2024.
But the teenager did not acknowledge the fact he was in the presence of greatness constantly asking the 47-year-old if he is Cristiano’s real dad due to their shared surnames. And it made for painfully awkward viewing.
