Love Island fans all had the same complaint over the latest episode.
The sexy sun-soaked show, fronted by Maya Jama, was back for another episode on Wednesday (June 5) after kicking off its brand new series this week. And so far, it’s fair to say it has delivered on the drama.
Not only has reality TV legend Joey Essex joined the show, but in a brutal twist he had 24 hours to decide which one of the girls to steal. He ended up choosing Samantha, which meant for Sam his time on the show was over.

But during Wednesday’s instalment (May 6) fans were left fuming at their screens without minutes. Frustrated, viewers were struggling to understand what the latest lot of Islanders were saying.
Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Can we please have subtitles emotions & accents make it so hard to hear anything clearly.” Someone else added: “Love island needs to start adding subtitles because these accents are STRONG.”
A third penned: “Put subtitles up or I’ll turn off I cannot understand these ppl.” Another wrote: “itv pls im on my knees i need subtitles for these ppl all i’m hearing is sounds.”
Elsewhere on the show, things were getting hot and steamy for the islanders. In the first fifteen minutes on the show, viewers saw Joey Essex and Samantha Kenny kiss. This was then followed by Ronnie Vint and Jess White.
Not long after Ayo Odukoya and Mimi Ngulube also headed up to the hideaway for a saucy kiss too. With so much going on during episode three, fans shared their thoughts on X formerly known as Twitter.
One viewer said: “These couples moving so quick?? it’s going to crash and burn soon, let the show begin.”
Another penned: “Lmao things are going too fast. I’m already preparing for the drama.”
A third said: “With Ayo and Mimi, If someone’s head turn, it’ll be spectacular the aftermath seeing how quick they’ve moved but if you like someone and they like you back, why not?”
