Geordie Shore star Nathan Henry has revealed he was forced to miss filming of the new MTV series due to a work schedule clash.
The fan favourite will only be in a small amount of episodes of the reunion show, which kicks off on tonight, after landing a spot of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia.
Both shows were recording at the same time which meant that Nathan doesn’t appear in as much as usual but viewers don’t need to worry as he’s confirmed that he still “brings the drama” despite having little screen time.

Nathan told Daily Star: “You can expect to see me for two days. I was in the jungle so I was away from filming. However, when I was there I pretty made sure you guys got exactly what you deserved. I had fun for the time I was there. ” He previously revealed that appearing on I’m A Celebrity was his “dream” role.
The previous Geordie Shore series, dubbed The Reunion, aired back in 2022 – and a lot has happened since then. Fans have seen the former party animals grow up since they first starred on the show. At the time of filming, they were going through even more changes. Original star Holly Hagan was pregnant.
Marnie Simpson was getting married. Charlotte Crosby had just become a new mum, Sophie Kasaei was gearing up to move in with her TOWIE star boyfriend Jordan Brook and James Tindale was newly in love. With so much happening in their lives, the cast can’t wait to catch up at Marnie’s wedding to singer Casey Johnson but she has a huge surprise in store for them.
She gets home from working abroad and has all of her wedding prep to do and her Cyrpus honeymoon to plan but she decides to invite all of her Geordie pals with her. Viewers will see a huge cast of 21 Geordies, five kids and another on the way reunite for the ultimate family holiday. And fans can expect some huge surprises in the villa.

Opening up about the new series, Nathan said: It’s absolute chaos: If we weren’t genuinely friends I don’t think Geordie Shore would work. None of us are paid actors, this is our real life so the fact we are genuinely friends is what has given it such longevity and not only that, we’re really realistic people, humble and normal and I think that creates likability and people can resonate with us because we’re not pretending to be someone we’re not. We’re just 20odd kids from the north-east of England that came from nothing and made something of themselves.”
Watch the first TWO episodes of the brand-new series of Geordie Shore on Paramount+ first from January 9, or catch-up weekly on MTV! New episodes drop first on Paramount+ every Tuesday
