GK Barry is ready for global domination.
The social media sensation has taken the podcast world by storm and recently celebrated her 100th episode of her chart-topping show Saving Grace. Katie Price, Alison Hammond and Marnie Simpson are just a few of the huge names who have sat down for a natter with Grace Keeling – and her interviews have racked up millions of viewers on YouTube.
She’s recently just finished her sell-out tour where she surprised crowds with a star-studded line-up of guests from the Pricey herself to Love Island All Stars’ Hannah Elizabeth, TOWIE legend Gemma Collins and Geordie Shore beauty Chloe Ferry. However, Grace admits that she still gets nervous before every podcast recording.

She told Daily Star: “Never in my life did I think we’d make 100 episodes. I thought The Fellas would sign me to do this podcast, it would absolutely flop and i’d be kicked off by the 40th episode but it’s mental how much it’s grown compared to now. I don’t ever want to give it up and I’ll be doing this when I’m 94.”
“The first show of the tour I was nervous for because I wasn’t sure if i would remember by intro but I wasn’t nervous for any of the other shows. When it comes to my podcast and I’m there and their team is watching and the room is silent that’s when I get nervous. I get nervous all the time and you’d think I’d grown out of that but every time.
“The first tour I did we had 100k subscribers to the YouTube and now we’re selling out the Palladium which is crazy to see how many more people are listening and how many more people are coming to actually see the podcast on the car. It’s mental.”
She has even managed to convince celebrities who have previously turned down podcasts to appear on Saving Grace. The media personality, who shot to fame on TikTok, explained: “Chloe Ferry told me she’d never done a podcast and I probably never will so I was I hounded that girl so I was shocked she did it. Katie Price, I couldn’t believe she freed up for her night to come chat with me.
However, things don’t also go to plan as some guests come with their diva demands. She said: “There’s only one person, who I won’t name I can think who came on the pod and said ‘I don’t want to talk about this – which is what I actually only knew them for – and I don’t want to mention my partner – which is only other thing I knew them for – and I remember being stumped and they only told me on the day so I had to pull conversation out of thin air, that was a tough one.”
Despite having already spoken to some of the biggest names in the showbiz world, Grace has some more famous faces on her wish list. “Paris Hilton, Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley. Any icon I can get I will be forcing onto the pod. Any opportunity I get I will absolutely snap up and anytime I get to speak to people that are famous or that I’ve grown up with I will absolutely jump at the chance.”
Last year, Grace faced her biggest challenge yet and appeared on Channel 4’s Don’t Look Down for Stand Up To Cancer. She said appearing on the show was her biggest “pinch me” moment of her career so far as well selling out the London Palladium last year with her second Saving Grace tour – and she doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon.
“I wanted to be a PussyCat Doll or I wanted to be on telly so I’ve done one of them,” Grace said “Don’t Look Down and working on Channel 4 was a big pinch me moment. I remember when they were like ‘These 10 celebrities’ and I was laughing because I can’t believe I’ve been put in the same bracket as Anton Ferdinand and Victoria Pendleton, that was absolutely mental.
“Get me on Bake Off. Get me on I’m A Celeb. Maybe not another one that sends me bungee jumping I will say. I think my time jumping off bridges is done but anything. I’d love to do whatever. Maybe Big Brother in a couple of years, maybe not now.”
Influencers have recently been faced with criticism having been accused of “stealing journalists jobs” in recent weeks. Grace interviewed the likes of Kylie Minogue and Dua Lipa on the red carpet at the BRITs earlier this month and has a perfect response to critics.
She said: “I’m just happy to be there. I am very aware maybe I am not as qualified as other people but one thing I can do is I can talk to a brick wall and I think I’m doing an alright job. If someone is more qualified then me then feel free to choose them.”
With more huge names planned for the podcast, Grace has teased her future plans as she plots to take Saving Grace global. She revealed: “I want to take it worldwide. I want to go to Australia, I want to go to America and I just want to do loads. I want to do more tours. I’ve hopefully got someone coming to talk about a recent break-up that has been in the press and I’ve finally got someone who’s teeth are possibly as famous as them.”
