Bradley Walsh found himself in hot water while hosting the latest episode of Gladiators.
The ITV presenter got a telling off from his son and co-host Barney when he made a rather cheeky-sounding remark about “swinging” right before the Hang Tough Challenge. Everyone knows dads can be embarrassing,
But it’s probably tougher when your dad is famous and makes saucy-sounding remarks on live TV, where thousands of people can watch. Poor Barney was mortified right before introducing the Hang Tough challenge.

A smirking Bradley declared: “And now, it’s time for a bit of swinging.” Barney begged him: “Please, don’t ever say that again.”
But Bradley, who is known for his quips on ITV’s The Chase, decided to feign innocence. He replied: “I don’t know what you’re [talking about]. It’s Hang Tough!”.
The game involves the contender and Gladiator playing a game of aerial chess. The contender must reach the Gladiators’ platform, swinging through hoops positioned high in the air, with the Gladiator tasked with knocking them off and onto the matts.
It’s not the first time the pair have made a naughty comment during the rebooted BBC show. Earlier this month, Bradley was the one doing the telling off as his son cheekily mentioned “tackles” before a new game.
As the pair introduced The Ring, Bradley said: “Thank you very much indeed, it’s time for one of our new games – The Ring. The trick is to make it to the centre of the ring without getting tackled by the gladiators.
Barney added: ” I’ll tell you what, that is not easy because as we’ve seen, a lot of our gladiators have impressive tackles.” Bradley abruptly interrupted: “Leave it,” before adding: “It’s the ring.”
