Good Morning Britain’s Andrew Pierce has had his on the latest rumoured Royal drama.
It has been reported that King Charles will not have time to meet with his son Prince Harry on his scheduled visit to the UK. The former working royal has already arrived in the UK, without his wife Meghan Markle, to mark the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
A spokesperson for the Duke confirmed that his calendar is too busy for a meeting this time round, prompting claims that he is seen as untrustworthy.

Appearing on Friday’s (May 10) episode of the ITV breakfast show, contributor Andrew claimed: “I’ve said it before and I will say it again – the King does not trust his son. Harry’s laid it all bare, exposed everything – he doesn’t trust him, nor does William, and no senior member of the royal family is going to see Harry [on this visit].”
His bombshell claim saw plenty of reaction on social media, with one fan writing: “It’s great news that King Charles can’t meet with him. The reason’s irrelevant; Charles is King & Harry doesn’t pull the strings anymore. Simple.”
Another added: “KC could not trust Haz not to repeat any conversations they might have together therefore the decision was made not to make time for Haz. Netflix must be so disappointed!!” A third warned: “Harry reaps what he sows.”
Kevin Maguire joined in with the debate to suggest that they might need mediation to heal the rift. He said: “With problem families, with real troubled relationships, you can have social workers and mediators in the room when you bring families together. “Maybe that’s what you need with Britain’s most dysfunctional family.”
Andrew quickly contradicted: “I think they’ve got quite enough on their plate”. Kevin added: “It’s sad on a human level.” Harry’s latest visit to the UK marks his first return since he met with the King back in February following his cancer diagnosis.
A spokesperson confirmed that a meeting between the father and son is not expected to take place. A statement read: “In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme. “The duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
