Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley and his fellow TV wife Judy Finnigan rushed to support their daughter Chloe Madeley after her split from James Haskell.
The pair went their separate ways last year and announced the news to the world mere weeks ago while they dealt with it themselves. Chloe and James have been co-parenting and sharing updates on social media as they navigate their new family dynamic.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Chloe has praised her parents for how they supported her following the news. She said: “The day that the statement came out, James had Bodhi and I went round to my parents’ house and I just sat and cried all day.”

Chloe added that they gave her a lot of hugs and didn’t leave her side. She explained the TV duo have been “incredible” following her split from James and said a very comforting sentence.
“My mum and dad’s title line is, ‘As long as you’re happy, we support you.’ So they’re fine,” she said.
“Everyone is very adult about it. No one has any interest in any family drama. I’m so grateful to have parents like that. They’re so kind, warm, generous, funny and intelligent. I really hit the jackpot.”
Chloe admitted she’s been feeling “free, happy and calm” following her split from James. The pair called time on their relationship, but she’s said it hasn’t been a negative thing.
She added: “But in our case, it’s a very positive decision and it’s good. I’ve just felt a lot lighter.”
Chloe, who was upset by claims their split was for publicity, also revealed there was “a lot” that led to their relationship ending. “It wasn’t any one thing,” she added.
“James and I had been together for 10 years. We still love each other deeply and we have a child together. So it would have to be quite a big board of things for us to decide that this isn’t going to be fixed, we need to draw a line under it.”
