Gogglebox icons, Mary Killen and Giles Wood have cemented their status as reality TV superstars, with many a fan desperate to join them on the sofa inside their chocolate box cottage.
While sitting in what is playfully referred to as ‘The Grottage’, the pair have developed a reputation for their perfect execution of witty one-liners and scintillating chemistry, which has solidified their status as arguably the most popular couple on the show.
In an intriguing interview with The Telegraph, the couple confessed that they live without central heating and instead keep warm via stained gas heaters. The pair even resort to creating their own double glazing using bubble wrap.

Their kitchen, which is covered in mould with paint peeling from the ceiling, is described as “worse than Benefits Street.”

What better place to start than the room we all know and love? The colour-coordinated green living room with matching William Morris wallpaper, curtains, and sofas is a sight to behold.
However, away from the zany prints stand several bookshelves full of classic novels and several paintings, which add an undeniable element of class.

While Giles is renowned for his humour, his real passion lies in painting. Therefore, he needs a spot where he can unwind and get the creative juices flowing.
It appears he’s opted for a kitchen area, where he’s positioned an easel in front of a coffee table, which stands next to a cream wood-panelled cabinet, storing white plates, blue cups and a microwave.

When the loving couple isn’t enjoying the latest Netflix show, they’re out catching rays in their garden. Their brown bench is the perfect spot to sit out by the wild grass and enjoy a few drinks in front of their red brick exterior, all topped off with a thatched roof.
