Good Morning Britain’s Adil Ray is celebrating his 50th birthday – and fans are shocked.
The ITV host appeared on Friday’s episode of GMB (April 26) alongside co-host Charlotte Hawkins. His co-star revealed it was his birthday on the show and he was brought a cake on air.
She also shared snap of them in the studio together on X and wished him a happy birthday – urging fans to come forward and comment on his big day as well. Charlotte captioned the post: “Morning from @GMB & a big Happy Birthday to @adilray Also @DrAmirKhanGP is joining us with news of a potentially gamechanging cancer jab that’s currently being tested.

“And our debate this morning.. is it OK to have a favourite grandchild after one granny admits she does?”
ITV viewers replied to Charlotte’s thread and gushed over how good Adil looks for his age. One wrote: “@GMB happy birthday Adil. You don’t look a day over 30 mate. Keep up the good work at making us all laugh.”
A second added: “Happy Birthday Adil, wishing you a very special day @adilray What a beautiful looking for 50!!!!! #GMB #AdilRay” While a third penned: “OMG – Has Adil had a hair transplant in last ten years – gone from going bald to a full-on bufont quiff! And he’s looking younger – Botox?”
Other fans commented on how much they would to watch him on screen, with one fan claiming he is one of the nicest TV stars. They typed: “Adil really is one of the nicest guys on TV hoping you both have a wonderful weekend.”
One other compared him to his co-stars and stated how much better he is at his job than the likes of Ed Balls and Richard Madeley. One scribed: “Adil really highlights just how awful Richard Madeley & Ed Balls are as presenters, the difference in competency is outstanding.
“Yet I see people that can’t stand Adil, no idea why not, maybe their brain dead so Balls & Madeley are more their level #gmb #GoodMorningBritain” The TV host has starred on GMB since 2018, after temporarily replacing Piers Morgan on the show.
