Gordon Ramsay has sparked widespread horror after he created a full English pizza with baked beans.
The sweary chef plonked beans, sausage, black pudding and a fried egg on the breakfast-themed meal that even included the ingredients of a Bloody Mary, with vodka and Tabasco and Lea & Perrins sauces added to the tomato sauce base.
Pizza-lovers were furious with him, saying it was a desecration of the dish. One fan said: “You lost me with the beans bro.” Another raged: “The base is charcoal. The beans are an abomination.”

Others agreed: “Baked beans should never go on a pizza! Gordon always complains about pineapple! How could he think baked beans are better!” Gordon came to Portmeirion in north Wales for his online Scrambled series.
Using a mobile pizza unit belonging to Cardiff-based pizza experts the Pizza Boys, he then proceeded to spark a near-diplomatic row. The pizza has a sourdough base, but after that the chef mixes up tomatoes, vodka, Lea & Perrins’ and Tabasco sauces, before adding in spoonfuls of Heinz baked beans.
“Who doesnt love baked beans?” Chef Ramsay says cheerily, before adding: “So we have this Bloody Mary base with these beautiful baked beans running through the centre.”
He then adds in local seaweed, presumably to give it a bit more of a Welsh twist. Smoked pancetta, local mushrooms, Welsh sausage and black pudding are then thrown on before the pizza is cooked with an egg yolk in the middle to finish it off with lashings of Snowdonia’s Black Bomber cheese.
Gordon believes the creation could even become a Welsh staple. “Then the egg. Trust me there’s no full English anywhere without a beautiful fried egg so that’s going to sit in the middle. Fingers crossed this beauty’s going to come off,” added the TV star.
Even the chef admitted he wasn’t sure about the baked beans at first but then said he enjoyed the finished product. The Italians were also furious with him.
One man living in Rome said: “You f***ing murderer….vodka and tabasco in the sauce..never come to Italy anymore.” Another Italian-native penned: “Noooooo, please!!!! Respect the pizza.”
